ANDREW PRICE

C E O

Andrew Price became involved in the Firelighter Industry in 1982. In 1997 he was appointed Managing Director of UK based Tiger Tim Products Limited. By 2006, having built annual sales to over $17 million, Mr. Price and two colleagues bought Tiger Tim. Since then revenues have increased to over $34 million, making it the largest firelighter manufacturer worldwide, with over 87% of its production being exported.

Andrew and his team achieved these results through the development of new innovations that meet consumer demand for products with greater safety, functionality and convenience while having a lower environmental impact. Much of his focus has been on renewable bio-based products, which are safer and a sustainable alternative to petroleum based firelighters.

Andrew has a proven record of growing the private label sector. Research shows that branded ignition products are not destination products whereas private label is believed to offer better value and reassurance to customers. Since retiring from the UK business in March 2012 Mr. Price has been implementing his proven strategy to introduce these products to the North American market place. To this end A+A Price Sales and Marketing Inc. is operating out of Vancouver, British Columbia; Kitchener, Ontario and Santa Monica, California.
